Arab News – The Eastern Province police have arrested two Asians who stole SR12 million from a money exchange company in Jubail, a media spokesman for the Eastern Province police said.
The police in Jubail received a report on Wednesday morning of a theft in a money exchange firm. The thieves made off with a large amount of money in different currencies and fled at once, according to spokesman Col. Ziyad Al-Ruqaiti.
Following extensive search, the police arrested the men on the Riyadh-Salasil Road; the money was found in the car, the spokesman said.
The men, two Asians, were arrested and will be referred to the relevant authorities. The money will be returned to the money exchange company, the police spokesman said.
Eastern Province Gov. Prince Saud bin Naif expressed his thanks and appreciation to the security team for the rapid apprehension of the criminals.
