Saudi Gazette – The General Directorate for Roads opened a new office for senior citizens and people with special needs, Al-Madina newspaper reported.
Hasan Al-Jehani said the people have been waiting for an office for senior citizens and people with special needs to open.
“There has been a need for such an office. Senior citizens and people with special needs are no longer forced to put in extra efforts just to receive the services needed. The office also has a women’s section. The general directorate opened the office as part of its plan to work towards the Vision 2030,” said Al-Jehani.
General Director for Roads Majed Al-Harbi said the new office is one of many to be opened all over the Kingdom.
“The Minister of Transport has issued the decision to open offices for senior citizens and people with special needs across the Kingdom. The first office to open is in Madinah. The ministry serves the citizens and all of the services we offer aim to satisfy the citizens. There are even parking spaces for people with special needs and disabilities,” said Al-Harbi.
He added anyone with a complaint or a suggestion may contact the office.
