Saudi Gazette – Border Guards seized over 3 million amphetamine pills in two separate incidents in Tabuk on Saturday. A Border Guard patrol team near the shores spotted suspicious-looking vehicle driving into a deserted area. The guards asked the driver to pull up but he sped through in an attempt to escape. The guards were able to stop the driver after giving him a chase. The driver and a passenger he had were arrested and 1 million amphetamine pills hidden inside the vehicle seized. The guards spotted another vehicle in a different area by the shore and inspected it to find 2 million amphetamine pills. The driver of the vehicle was arrested. Both incidents were forwarded to the pertinent authorities.
