The President of the Arab Center for Human Rights Dr. Amjad Shamout praised the efforts being exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to serve pilgrims, citing its constant activity to provide comfort for pilgrims during Hajj season.

In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, Shamout said that there are extraordinary preparations and capabilities offered by the Kingdom’s government under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in terms of hosting and providing security and accommodation for pilgrims.

The pilgrimage is a spiritual and religious ritual supposed to stay away from politicization, a trend is rejected by pilgrims and governments, because it corrupts the nature of Hajj rites, he added.
